I have completed medical transcription four months in house training. I want to work from home. Please tell me how to use the file transfer protocol software, back up capacity of the UPS, reliable internet connection etc.

Is there anyone who can outsource for home-based medical transcription to India?

I am an experienced medical transcriptionist having full infrastructure to work as a home-based medical transcriptionist, and I like to know any company, physcian or hospital who can outsource files on a daily basis and also payment per line basis.

I can transcribe with excellent quality around 600 lines a day within the turn-around time. I have specialized in Orthopedics, GIGU, OB-Gyn and Physical Therapy files and having sound knowledge in other sections such as Ophthalmology, Pulmonay and cardiology, Neurology etc.

You might be able to find some data entry positions but to work from home medical transcription for a reputible company, you will need to have graduated from a recognized medical transcription school like M-TEC (www.mtecinc.com) or have 2 years’ experience. There are literally hundreds of companies hiring Medical Transcriptionists to work from home.
