Most jobs on the net will not pay your bills unless you have a job already and they trust you to work from home -
Buy the magazine Success from home – it has real stories, real advice (look at your book store).
You can auction but finding items is hard work as is the over head investment.
I suggest sales – find a product you love with a solid back round (and real people making $) and go for it.
You work when you want – and you are your own boss.
Child care is the other option which is lucrative but ties you down!

A really easy way to make money online is to join GPT sites. GPT sites pay you to take surveys and try out new products. I remember when I first starting doing GPT’s, I made about $70 within the first hour. (and then I was hooked =P) Here are 2 of my favorites:
